Meet Dr. Ron Weihs
A Chiropractic Journey
“I love to play hockey but couldn’t do it without the help of chiropractic.”
Affectionately known to many of his patients simply as Dr. Ron, our chiropractor graduated from Sisler High School in 1991. He then attended the University of Winnipeg where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry.
After graduation, Dr. Weihs moved to Minneapolis, Minn., and attended Northwestern Health Sciences University, where he graduated summa cum laude as Doctor of Chiropractic. He interned at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, Minn., and campus clinics in other parts of the state: Bloomington, St. Paul and Burnsville. Dr. Weihs began private practice in Prior Lake, Minn., and then joined Integrated HealthCare Services (IHS), a busy multidiscipline clinic in downtown St. Paul.
At IHS, Dr. Weihs worked side by side with medical doctors, a physiatrist, massage therapists and physical therapists. He gained extensive knowledge on the co-management of a broad range of health disorders, but most frequently with joint and spinal disorders.
